Missing .dll files?

Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable:

• Windows 64-bit: download and run VC_redist.x64.exe

• Windows 32-bit: download and run VC_redist.x86.exe

• Not sure which you have? Install both – it's safe.

After installation, restart your PC and launch the game as Administrator.
These files are part of the Visual C++ 2015–2022 runtime required by the client.

Missing DirectX 9 components?

Install DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) – required by older (v15) clients:

This package adds legacy DirectX 9.0c components used by the game. Having DirectX 12 on Windows is not a replacement. If you're unsure, just install it – it's safe and compatible with modern Windows.

Antivirus flags neuz.exe?

The warning about neuz.exe is usually a false positive. Older game clients can be misidentified by antivirus software.

• If the file was removed or quarantined – restore neuz.exe from quarantine.
• Add an exclusion for your entire game folder in your antivirus / Windows Security.
• After that, run the launcher again (ideally as Administrator).

Windows Security (Defender):
Settings → Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions → Add a folder (select Giant FlyFF folder).
