Mercenary is the foundation of close-quarters combat: solid survivability, steady damage, and an easy start. You’ll learn aggro control, shield vs. dual-wield play, and set up for either high DPS (Blade) or tank/AoE (Knight).
Slayer amplifies everything Blade does best: faster sequences, higher crit potential, and lethal set synergies. Incredible boss melter, but positioning and premium gear matter.
